Updating PhpMyAdmin and Setting Up the Configuration Storage

The little details matter.

I have been trying to setup the MyPhpAdmin Configuration Storage.

The sample looks like this:

/*
* phpMyAdmin configuration storage settings.
*/

/* User used to manipulate with storage */
// $cfg['Servers'][$i]['controluser'] = 'pma';
// $cfg['Servers'][$i]['controlpass'] = 'pmapass';

/* Storage database and tables */
// $cfg['Servers'][$i]['pmadb'] = 'phpmyadmin';
// $cfg['Servers'][$i]['bookmarktable'] = 'pma_bookmark';
// $cfg['Servers'][$i]['relation'] = 'pma_relation';

Sending Tweets More Quickly from My Blackberry

One of my frustrations with Twitter lately is that there is not a quick way to send out Tweets from my Blackberry Tour. I use the Seesmic Blackberry client for reading what people are Tweeting about. The Seesmic client is a great application, even in beta, but is also a major battery drain.

This weekend I read about LittleChirp from www.naviina.eu. It is a little application that allows you to quickly post to Twitter. No reading. No battery drain.

Virus Fighter Again....Arrgh!

In the last few months, I have had to remove A LOT of spyware from computers. They have all had generally the same type of trojan installed. The trojan starts warning the computer user that his/her computer is infected with a virus and advises them to purchase their wonderful antivirus or spyware program. This prompts a call to me!

There are two tools that have helped me to resolve all of my recent spyware problems.Virus Needle

Blackberry App Store

Randomly over the last two weeks I have gotten a notice on my Blackberry that some of my applications need to be updated. This week I have had four applications to update. Does this mean that the App Store has finally started to work correctly? Or are developers releasing updates this week for a reason?
